Welcome to Our Blog! 1

What is oculoplastic surgery? We all started our surgical training as board-certified ophthalmologists who performed surgery in and around the eye.  We further specialized to plastic and reconstructive surgery around the eyes and face, including the eyelids, orbit (eye socket), and lacrimal system. We have all trained within the guidelines of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), who only allows the most elite oculoplastic surgeons to join their ranks. We address a variety of issues from cosmetic injections like Botox and Restylane in all areas in the face and neck, blepharoplasty for eyelid rejuvenation, orbital tumors that can threaten vision or even your life, and irritating tearing causing swimmy vision. Read about our cosmetic and reconstructive procedures to learn more.

We have been in practice for over 25 years and have an abundance of knowledge that we wish to share with you in this blog from tidbits about the aging face to fun facts about the eyelids, orbit, and tear drainage system.  We hope you find this educational and interesting. If you have any questions or topics you would like us to address, please email us at info@pesahouston.com. We are also open to consultations if you find an area of concern that you would like treated. Maybe you’re interested in Kybella to get rid of the fat pad under or chin or Botox or Dysport to get rid of the wrinkles in the glabella or forehead areas. Alternatively, you may have symptoms of Thyroid Eye Disease and want to know what options are available to you. You can call 713-795-0705 to schedule an appointment with any of our surgeons.
