Dr. Charles Soparkar
As incredible as Dr. Patrinely is at ophthalmic plastic surgery, he isn’t the only expert physician on our team. Dr. Charles Soparkar has had a strong presence in the same field, operating as Chief of ophthalmic oncology and oculoplastic surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Boston University Medical Center, and the world-renowned Lahey-Hitchcock Clinic. Native to Massachusetts, Dr. Soparkar graduated with his medical degree and Ph.D. in molecular biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts.
As an avid teacher and student, he has trained, taught, and lectured in the fields of plastic and aesthetic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, molecular biochemistry, and orbital oncology. Dr. Jennifer Murdock
Dr. Murdock is the newest addition to the team at Plastic Eye Surgery Associates. Her education has taken her from coast to coast, at the University of Miami and Oregon Health and Science University. Art and science are her passions, and Dr. Murdock combines the two aspects to bring her patients an expert surgical approach for facial aesthetics. A board-certified eye surgeon, she also is credentialed by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Blepharoplasty procedures are one of the most common plastic surgery procedures in the market. It is slightly less popular than body plastic surgery, like breast augmentation and rhinoplasty. Blepharoplasty is plastic surgery of the eyelid and holds the purpose of improving eyelid appearance or restoring vision. Plastic Eye Surgery Associates repairs and alters eyelids so that you can enjoy your vision unimpeded.
Upper Eyelid Lifts
As the most common blepharoplasty procedure, upper eyelid surgery is incredibly popular for men and women alike. Some patients wish to achieve facial symmetry, while others want to reduce fatty deposits or sagging lids. Whatever is your reason for an eye lift, our doctors are more than qualified to give your eyelids an easy fix.
Having droopy upper eyelids give off the appearance of being older than you are, uninterested in a conversation, or even exhausted when you’re quite rested. This can affect social situations and interactions with new people you meet. Instead of missing out on opportunities, consider an eyelid lift to get you back on track. Once we’ve performed surgery on your eyelids, you’ll feel and look alert, young, and rejuvenated.
Lower Eyelid Lifts
Your lower eyelids can develop extra skin, eye bags, and wrinkles that make you look ten years older. Like with your upper eyelid, these appearances can have all kinds of adverse effects on your life. To prevent this, lower eyelid surgery can be done in tangent with an upper eyelid lift. In addition to the upper eyelid, lower eyelid lifts can also be done with other procedures such as filler injections, facelifts, midface suspension, and eyelid tightening.
