From the year of 1986 to 1997, he was an associate professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Since returning to Houston, TX, he teaches the practice of ophthalmology and plastic surgery to other doctors in training. In addition to being an excellent cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Patrinely is also an excellent doctor in reconstructive surgery. He is frequently called upon by other expert doctors who need help with accident victims and other complex cases.
Dr. Charles Soparkar
Our other excellent doctor is Dr. Soparkar, who is also certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a long-time friend and mentor of Dr. Patrinely. Dr. Jennifer Murdock
Dr. Murdock is the newest associate to join the team. She is a fantastic oculoplastic surgeon who is also board-certified in ophthalmology. This surgeon excels in injectables like Botox and fillers like Restylane, which are great options for younger patients with a few facial wrinkles.
Your Goals are Our Goals
Most of the patients we see in our practice have already had plastic eye surgery from elsewhere. Unfortunately, they have suffered from unfavorable surgical results, and so they come to the experts at Plastic Eye Surgery Associates. We work with these patients closely to fix the problems from previous surgery causing them grief. In fact, about 70% or our work is corrective surgery. Only 30% of our work is original, but 100% of it is exceptional surgery.
If you trust your aesthetic and reconstructive needs to our excellent doctors, you will look better than ever. We can correct problems from previous procedures or accidents or just improve upon the look you already have. Come meet our doctors, and experience the attention to detail and top-quality patient care for yourself.
Plastic Eye Surgery Associates physicians and staff provide specialized surgery with attention to your face and area around the eyes. Have you noticed saggy eyelids or annoying Crow’s feet? We can help with that! We believe the eyes are the most important part of the face, especially when it comes to social interactions. The eyes often do more talking than our words. They can portray emotions of feeling disinterested, surprised, happy, or angry.
Unfortunately, aging can sometimes mask these expressions. For example, as we age our eyelids begin to sag, droop, and develop deep wrinkles. This can make you look tired, angry, or even limit your vision. Droopy eyelids are a common problem among older men and women. Droopy eyelids can even block peripheral vision. This can seriously cause problems in life. Especially when driving on a busy highway or knocking a golf ball down the fairway.
Our Approach to Plastic Surgery Procedures
We perform eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty, to remove that excess skin that contributes to droopy eyelids. This type of surgery is a very common type of cosmetic surgery because of its great benefits for both men and women with little downtime. We strive to provide our patients with the best possible results after surgery.
Our surgeons are very detailed and understand how different attributes can affect your look and your results. Traits such as age, gender, genetics, eyebrow height, eyelid height, and systemic disease can all have effects on the outcome of a procedure. Your anatomy may require us to sculpt fat in an area in the eyelid, tighten a corner of the eye, or remove fat in the lower eyelids. We will find the best procedure that suits you.
