If you are looking for a Houston TX eye lift, then Plastic Eye Surgery Associates are the surgeons to contact. We offer surgery for the upper and lower eyelids as well as other areas of the face. We commonly perform blepharoplasty surgery, forehead lifts, reconstruction after Mohs surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Eyelid surgery can be performed relatively quickly, and you will even get to go home on the same day. While recovery is quick, and the cost is affordable, our care is the best in the business.
Plastic Eye Surgery Associates are the leaders in eyelid surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. Our oculoplastic surgeons have been internationally recognized as leading plastic eye surgery across the world. We take great care to put you, the patient, first, taking into consideration all of your unique anatomy and special concerns. We share your goals, meaning we can only be pleased with our practice if you are happy and satisfied with your surgical results.
What is an Eye Lift or Eyelid Lift?
There are two different types of eye lifts. Both procedures focus on the eyelid skin and underlying tissues that may be droopy, wrinkly, or puffy. These aging changes around the eye can make you look tired and older than you really are. Many people also have eye bags that form under the eye. These can negatively affect someone’s appearance as well as cause problems when looking down.
The first of the two different types is known as a lower eyelid lift or blepharoplasty. This type of plastic surgery focuses on removing loose skin and repositioning fatty tissue that causes the under eye bags. Patients look younger and well-rested after this kind of lower eyelid blepharoplasty.
The other eyelift surgery is an upper eyelid lift. Gravity, skin laxity and aging change our eyelid skin, causing loose skin and thinning of the tissues around the eye. We are able to improve this look by tightening up the area and removing any extra skin or fatty deposits. In addition to improving appearance, upper eyelid surgery is also known to improve vision.
Both of these surgical procedures are similar in that they can really make a person look alive. The skin around the eyes can really show aging over the years. Even if you’re well-rested, you can look tired or bored. If the loose skin starts to fall over your lash line, it may even block your vision. Blepharoplasty is the most common surgical procedure for these problems, but there are many cosmetic options to treat the skin and signs of aging around the eyes.
We Take Careful Consideration
Our oculoplastic surgeons at Plastic Eye Surgery Associates pay attention to the details needed for planning an eye lift. We know that the exact same plastic surgery procedure cannot be applied to every person. Our approach is drastically different from patient to patient, based on your individual goals and facial anatomy. Careful consideration of the following attributes is required to create successful results.
- Patient’s Goals
- Facial Structure (forehead, cheeks, symmetry, eyebrows, eyelids)
- Eye Shape
- Skin Quality
- Systemic Diseases
- Overall Eye Health
All of these details are carefully evaluated when patients come in for a consultation. While our doctors may not vocalize every detail their assessment with you, you more than welcome to ask any and all questions. We want our patients to be comfortable with what’s going on and what surgical plan we may have to correct these issues.
There are many ways in which we can maximize results for each patient. While we strongly consider every detail, communicating your goals about surgery and seeing them through is most important. It is important to understand that we cannot make you look like a movie star, nor can we make you look decades younger. We want to align your goals with ours, ultimately to make a better looking you.

We have three spectacular doctors: Dr. James Patrinely, Dr. Jennifer Murdock, and Dr. Charles Soparkar, who have several years of experience underneath their belt. These physicians have been internationally recognized as leading plastic surgeons. Drs. Patrinley, Murdock, and Soparkar are constantly training physicians from around the world in oculoplastic surgery techniques.
Plastic Eye Surgery Associates have been on the cutting edge of medical research as well. They have studied everything from new nonsurgical treatment options for thyroid eye disease to reversal of hyaluronic acid fillers when dangerous complications arise. They are constantly updating their surgical techniques to remain leaders in the field of oculoplastic surgery.
Plastic Eye Surgery Associates at the Top
Dr. Patrinely, Dr. Murdock, and Dr. Soparkar perform over 1000 oculoplastic surgeries every year. This is significantly higher than other plastic surgeons, especially in the Houston area. Other American plastic surgeons normally only perform 28 or fewer eyelid surgeries every year. That’s a big difference in the experience! That’s why you should choose our oculoplastic surgeons to take care of your eyelids and eye bags.
The expert surgeons at Plastic Eye Surgery Associates understand that each patient is a unique individual. While surgical techniques may be similar, our approach to each person is tailored to their individual needs. 70% of our work is corrective work, as patients seek out our surgeons to help with unsatisfactory results with other plastic surgeons. While we are experts in fixing others’ mistakes, we strive to get your surgery right the first time. Your happiness is crucial to us.
