After that, this doctor continued his training at world-renowned John Hopkins, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Utah. Patrinely became board-certified in ophthalmology. He is credentialed by the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

Even though Dr. Murdock is a native Texan, she spent most of her adult life in Miami, FL. She attended the University of Miami for both a bachelor of science degree in biology and marine science as well as her medical degree. While in Miami, Dr. Murdock spearheaded a project called the DOCSumentary. This is a documentary series investigating the health care disparities in low-income neighborhoods in South Florida that are served by the medical student-run Department of Community Service.
