OCULOPLASTIC EDUCATION TRAINING SPECIALIST: Be responsible for training 12 – 15 clinical staff to provide up-to-date patient education for commonly seen, but complicated & rapidly evolving oculoplastic problems & treatments. Design, organize & conduct training programs. Conduct assessment of staff knowledge & teaching efficacy through constant review of ongoing patients’ evaluations as well as through direct observation of the staff in the clinic and during role playing scenarios. Review, edit & incorporate teaching aids. Consult with practice’s physicians to determine new clinical topics. Require Master’s in Education & 2 yrs. of work exp. in teaching or education. Previous work exp. to include 1 yr. of work exp. in healthcare or college level coursework in Biology, Anatomy, and Medical Terminology; and college level coursework in Graphic Arts/Visual Design.
